Watch the Live Cooking Challenge: Chefs Face Off on Food52
Tune in November 6th to watch the live cooking challenge!
The heat is on! On November 6th, from 1-1:30PM EST, three star Chefs — Camille Becerra, Phoebe Lapine, and Jennifer Perillo — will be pitted against each other to cook the same delicious dish. The catch? They will all be preparing the meal on different cooktops — one on an induction cooktop, one using gas, and one using electric.
The competition will be live-streamed on Food52. Food52, a food-lovers’ community and website dedicated to bringing cooks together from around the globe, has been taking “best party side dishes” submissions all week, where users are able to vote for their favorites. The winning recipe will be handed over to the chefs to cook on the day of the live-stream — plus, the winner gets a brand new Electrolux 30” or 36” Induction Cooktop OR a freestanding or built-in Induction Range, and a Food52 cookbook.
But why the competition? Quite simply, we want to find out which cooktop prepares your meal the fastest and tastiest. So tune-in for the battle of the cooktops — by watching and participating in the live-stream, you too could win an Electrolux cooktop or range.
