Giving your electronics a thoughtful spot where they don’t stick out like a sore thumb can not only make your room feel more streamlined, but ups the ante when it comes to organization. Here are some tips on how to organize your electronics.
- Use smaller electronics like DVD players, iPod decks and stereo systems like accent pieces. Place them on shelves or in a bookcase and mix in colorful vases, figurines, candles, photos and even books.
- Think of your flatscreen television the same way you would think of a piece of art. Those with a more traditional sensibility can hang it above the mantle, accented on either side with a vase of flowers. If you’re looking for a more creative solution try placing the TV in an actual picture frame. A third option is to is to mix it in with a wall gallery of your favorite paintings, photos and posters.

- While store bought entertainment centers can work well for those with multiple electronics, true tech junkies may want to consider getting something custom made. You’ll be able to choose where you want little extras like sliding storage shelves, doors and even spots to thread cords through the back.
